The year before last I had a few hundred bucks at MVP Bets and while scanning lines from page to page, suddenly my balance jumped a to about 8 thousand. I kept changing pages, home page, my account page, wager page, and everywhere I went was still the same, around 8,000 for 30 minutes! I knew eventually they would realize there was a problem, so I figured I'd have some fun with it and transferred about half to the casino and won about 2,000 more. Well, got offline, came back few hours later and sure enough, it was gone. But wait a minute!...... NOt only was the miscue money gone, so was all of mine but a few dollars. Becoming irate, I gave them a call. The guy said he had been in the offshore business for years and never seen such a problem occur with software going nuts like it did. After about 30 minutes on the phone, I eventually got my few hundred back.......Right along with about $1000more!....
You see though, I had a good arguement.My defense was that, I had a few hundred in there already, and I could of won the $2000 legitimately off of my own money, not necessarily their "Fake" money. So, the guy decides I have a valid point, and makes the decision that he would meet me in the middle.

Doing the right thing is its own reward.
I've got 2 little guys at home, and its sometimes difficult to explain to them why people do bad things sometimes (someone, and we know who, stole his Blue Eyes dragon card) and that why you should do a mitvah (a good dead done for the only the sake of doing it with no reward anticpated)

no brainer...you send it back or tell them so they can deduct it from your account....thye usually throw you a bone to boot like RPM said
happened to me for the derby at ODDSnends..they did not take my horse wagers out..told fred about it..there is no question here IMO..he threw me a small bone and a thank you for being stand up which to me is more important ..

You tell the book about it. First, it's the right thing to do. Second, they will catch it eventually and take it back. Third, it's bad karma if you take it. Rest assured that night you will get a bad beat and probably a few more to follow. Besides, most places will give you a small addition to your account just for telling them about it.
contrary to what some people might think....solid books do not want to "cheat" customers in any way....accordingly they do not like to be taken either...
if they overpay you tell them they made a mistake....
look at it this way....what happens if they overpaid you, and you didnt tell them and accepted the money, but they found the mistake later....guess what youve labled yourself as dishonest....
